Ingredients
- 1 beaten egg
- 1/3 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup fine dry bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup snipped parsley
- 1 teaspoon prepared mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 pound ground raw turkey
- 1/2 cup bottled barbecue or pizza sauce
Instructions
- In a bowl combine 1 beaten egg, 1/3 cup chopped onion, 1/4 cup fine dry bread crumbs, 1/4 cup snipped parsley, 1 teaspoon prepared mustard, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning, and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Add 1 pound ground raw turkey; mix well.
- In a 9-inch pie plate shape mixture into a 6-inch ring, 2 inches wide. Bake in a 350° oven for 40 to 50 minutes or till no longer pink.
- In a saucepan heat 1/2 cup bottled barbecue or pizza sauce; serve with turkey.
- Microwave directions: Assemble the turkey ring as above. Micro-cook, covered with waxed paper, on 100% power (high) for 7 to 9 minutes or till no pink remains, giving dish a quarter-turn twice. In a bowl cook barbecue sauce on high for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes or till hot. Serve with turkey.
