
Thousand Island Dressing

Ingredients
- 1 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
- 1/4 cup chili sauce
- 1 hard-cooked egg, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped pimiento-stuffed olives
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped green or sweet red pepper
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce or prepared horseradish (optional)
- 1 to 2 tablespoons milk (optional)
Instructions
- Combine mayonnaise and chili sauce. Stir in egg, pepper, onion, and, if desired, Worcestershire sauce. Cover; store in the refrigerator up to 1 week. If necessary, stir in milk to make of desired consistency.
- For a dressing with less fat, use one 8-ounce carton plain yogurt instead of the mayonnaise.
