
Nutty Cheese Spread

Ingredients
- 1 8-ounce package cream cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded Swiss or cheddar cheese (2 ounces)
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons snipped parsley
- 1/8 teaspoon onion powder
- Celery sticks, apple slices, * assorted crackers, or melba toast rounds
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl bring cream cheese and Swiss or cheddar cheese to room temperature. Add walnuts, milk, parsley, and onion powder. Stir till combined. Cover and chill up to 24 hours.
- To serve, spread on celery sticks, apple slices, crackers, or melba toast rounds.
- *Note: Brush apple slices with lemon juice or ascorbic-acid color keeper, if desired.
