No-Cook Fudge Frosting

Ingredients

  • 4 3/4 cups sifted powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup margarine or butter, softened
  • 1/3 cup boiling water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  1. Mix powdered sugar and cocoa. Add margarine, boiling water, and vanilla. Beat with an electric mixer on low speed till combined. Beat for 1 minute on medium speed.
  2. Cool for 20 to 30 minutes or till of spreading consistency. Frosts tops and sides of two 8- or 9-inch cake layers.
