
Meat and Pasta Bake

Ingredients
- 4 ounces small shell macaroni or elbow macaroni (1 cup)
- 1 pound ground beef or ground pork
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 10 3/4-ounce can condensed cream of onion, mushroom, or celery soup
- 1 cup shredded American cheese
- 1 8-ounce carton dairy sour cream
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 3/4 teaspoon dried thyme, marjoram, or savory, crushed
- 1 10-ounce package frozen mixed vegetables
- 1/4 cup crushed rich round crackers (7 crackers)
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain; set aside. In a large skillet cook meat and onion till meat is brown. Drain fat. Stir in soup, cheese, sour cream, milk, Worcestershire sauce, and herb. Stir in vegetables and pasta. Transfer to a 2-quart casserole. Bake, covered, in a 375° oven for 30 minutes. Stir. Sprinkle with crushed crackers. Bake, uncovered, for 5 to 10 minutes more or till heated through.
