Ingredients
- 1 1/2- to 1 3/4-pound beef chuck steak, cut 1 inch thick
- 1 teaspoon finely shredded lemon peel
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/4 cup cooking oil
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon prepared mustard
Instructions
- Slash fat on edges of roast. Place meat in a plastic bag set into a shallow dish. For marinade, combine lemon peel, lemon juice, cooking oil, onion, sugar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Pour over roast. Seal bag. Marinate in the refrigerator for 6 to 24 hours, turning bag occasionally.
