Instructions
- Freezing is one of the simplest methods of preserving and serving foods. Because it only preserves the food's quality, though, and doesn’t improve its quality, always start with garden-fresh produce and top-quality baked goods, prepared dishes, and meats. Also be sure to select varieties of fruits and vegetables recommended for freezing (check seed catalogs or ask a county extension agent), and to freeze the food when it’s young, tender, and at its peak of flavor and texture.
