Creamy Spinach

Ingredients

  • 1 10-ounce package frozen chopped spinach
  • 1 tablespoon margarine or butter
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon instant chicken bouillon granules
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Cook spinach according to package directions. Drain well.
  2. In a medium saucepan melt margarine or butter. Stir in cornstarch, bouillon granules, and nutmeg. Add milk all at once. Cook and stir till thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir 2 minutes more. Stir in the cooked spinach; heat through.
