Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh or frozen fish fillets
- 3/4 cup chopped green pepper
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon cooking oil
- 1 16-ounce can tomatoes, cut up
- 1 8-ounce can tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup dry white or red wine
- 3 tablespoons snipped parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano, crushed
- 1/4 teaspoon dried basil, crushed
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 6 1/2-ounce can minced clams
- 1 4 1/2-ounce can shrimp, rinsed and drained
Instructions
- Thaw fish, if frozen. Cut fish into 1-inch pieces. In large saucepan cook green pepper, onion, and garlic in hot oil till tender. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, wine, parsley, oregano, basil, salt, and shrimp pepper. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Cover and simmer 20 minutes.
- Add fish, undrained clams, and shrimp. Bring just to boiling; reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 5 to 7 minutes or till fish flakes easily.
