Buttermilk Dressing

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk or plain yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon snipped fresh chives, parsley, or dillweed; 1 teaspoon dried chives or parsley; or 1/2 teaspoon dried dillweed
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons milk (optional)

Instructions

  1. Stir together mayonnaise or salad dressing and buttermilk. Stir in cheese, herb, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper. Cover and store in refrigerator up to 2 weeks. If necessary, stir in milk to make of desired consistency.
